Critiques
I think it's a beautiful picture of a boy/girl with wings. I love so the critique is positive, of course.
It's so original because he/she (I will use she, I prefer but it can be a boy too) is watching something in the forest, so the girl has the back to us. Then, we can observe the wings perfectly, that they look so soft, like a real feathers.
The skin is so real, really! It's imperfect and the shadows are so realistic. She looks palid. And the hair isn't straight and perfect like a model, but it looks nice because she is in the forest, doesn't she?
Her posture is very well painted and she has a well-proportioned body.
My cousin said that you could touch her.
The colors you used for doing the forest are so well painted. I understand the background, although it isn't detailed. The tonality of all drawing in general is cold and dull, but not completly. You use the green and brown range. I like. The color is superior to form.
Good composition, because the center isn't the being and there aren't any element that disturb. The light is selective but it is credible.
When I saw it, I feel the girl alone and nostalgic, with a little hope.
Only there is one thing I don't like a lot: the tree. It's very well done, but... It looks like a plastic wood in some areas and it's too perfect to be a tree.
Even this little negative critique, great job.
